Where to find the exterior aluminum siding used on houseboats? I have a 1965 46ft Boatel houseboat that we have restored everything except the blue and white siding. I am looking for both blue and white aluminum siding. I can find the white but not the blue. Does anyone know of a source for this?

Well thanks for posting a picture of your Boatel houseboat. The boat looks good for a 1965, and the aluminum siding looks to be in good shape.

As to finding a source for different colored siding, I myself personally ended up contacting some exterior siding contractors, and using the web, to eventually find some styles and colors that I needed. It wasn't easy to find, but in the back of my mind, I knew it was available. I'm sure together, we will all find a source.

It's real pricey but here is a place to buy it. Helmet Valley Siding. It's $3.15 a sq ft. They matched mine on my 1967 houseboat. White is the only color.

I too, have been searching for pieces to match. I own a 1966 Lazy Days houseboat and need to cover two A/C vents that are now not needed. We installed a through-the-roof A/C to replace the two window units. Framing and sealing is not an issue, but finding siding to patch or replace cut panels is proving to be impossible.

Only one siding company has offered to attempt to match the bend pattern, but has not done so in 2 months. I have given up calling to remind them. If you find a source, please post it.
