Any Custom Aluminum Houseboat Hull Manufacturers?

Looking for an aluminum houseboat hull manufacturer, builder, or shop to fabricate a custom aluminum hull?

I need to find an experienced fabricator to build an all aluminum hull about 34' long with gently curved bottom, sides and roof that I can haul home on a custom trailer to finish myself.

Someone preferably within 500 miles of western NC helpful, but not required. Perfectionist preferred.

Well John, sounds like you've decided to build a custom designed, large trailerable aluminum houseboat.

When it comes to aluminum fabricators, there's some folks that do some great work, www.duralummfg.com, yet they're out in Everett, WA.

I am sure there are plenty on the East coast, and likely some of our readers may be able to share some names with us.

If you get the project underway, do come back and share some details and photos with us, as I am sure there are some readers that are contemplating building their own aluminum houseboat.
