A Floating Island or a Houseboat Dock?

by Priscilla Talley
(Baileyton, Alabama)

Our latest project, a Floating Island.

Our latest project, a Floating Island.

I have built a floating Island-gazebo-tiki hut bar-swimming, water-skiing platform, whatever you want to call it!

OK guys, let me know what you think, and what you'd like to have on it.

More photos and complete description is on the
www.horsebarnauction.com website.

My next project is going to be a floating wedding/chapel gazebo....I am going to call it "Floating Heavenly Hut"!

I am also currently building my third custom floating cabin-Houseboat........yes.......I am obsessed with LIFE ON THE WATER!

Smiles to all of you!

Priscilla Talley

Contact me about the floating tiki island, I can give you an exact appraisal of the cost to build it because I am the one who custom designed and built the first one!

Appraisal value?
by: Capt. Mac

I am suppose to give a appraisal value for a 15'x22' floating titki bar. The thing is awesome built on a galvanized framework and plastic floats. The uprights and frame is built out of 8"x8" ruff sawn cedar and the bar is bamboo, roof is thatch and has a fan built in it. It was custom made. Does anyone have a idea of the value and a way I can document it with comps. They tell me it cost over $20,000 to build.

great for a party
by: Susan in alabama

Incredible idea! What a great way to have a afternoon party with all your friend boats tied off or anchored near. Can't wait to see it for myself.

Cool Idea

Really neat looking. I think the floating platform idea allows for all sorts of creativity, like yours. Too many people are just making wide boats instead of unleashing all of the houseboats potential.
