I just purchased a 1979 35', and I have looked all over for the 12 volt fuse box...my bilge pump is out..think its the fuse...anyone know where it is?

Follow up story to this bizarre problem.....I finally found the 12volt fuse box and you all will get a good laugh out of this.....6 months after I bought the boat and have been fighting the missing fuse box system...my radio blew a fuse, so here I am looking again...crawled up under the steering console in main cabin again...was looking for anything...saw a bunch of wires going up into the back of the top of a box next to the console, there was a 12volt cigarette lighter and a three way switch in the front...no top access showing...took a hammer and started tapping the bottom of the front edge lightly...it started coming up to my surprise....well further tapping and it popped off and there was all the fuses for the boat system.....
2nd owners repair/paint contractor had inadvertently sealed up the lid/top of the Fuse box top with caulk and paint...Happy ending..Never give up the ship...LOL
