Sold the Steury Houseboat, and looking to buy another.

Sold the trailerable Steury houseboat, and want another one.

Sold the trailerable Steury houseboat, and want another one.

I sold the Steury houseboat, and would love to buy another one. When I sold it, I haven't stopped regretting that day. I want another. Please steer me in the right direction.

Would like a 27' maximum and would prefer another trailerable Steury houseboat, but I am open to other trailerable houseboat models. Thanks Rolf.

Well Rolf, sorry to hear about you selling your Steury, however I see that you want to buy another one, that is definitely a testimonial for the quality and convenience of a trailerable houseboat.

As you already know, the Steury's are getting hard to come by, so I would recommend starting at our Houseboat Classifieds page, and you will find some names of web sites where to start your search.

If you end up buying another Steury, do come back and post some pictures and post a few lines to let us know what you bought. You know we all love pictures :)

Lastly, hopefully some of our readers will share and post comments about their Steury houseboat experiences. Feel free to use the "Click here to post comments." link found near the bottom of this page.

Thanks again for sharing, IAN from all-about-houseboats

I have two 79 Steury houseboats 23 ft
by: Anonymous

I know I'd never sell my houseboat but I have two boats and I'm willing to sell one. I was setting it up for my parents but its to much for them to handle.

It has AC and I made a complete new interior out of oak to match stock set up as I'm a carpenter and they are mint. It also has a 228 hp with 4 barrel carb and does 38 mph.

It can pull 2 skier's while cooking steaks on the grill on the top deck and making blender drinks on the inside. I love my boat, ok, so it was only one skier but it's still a really cool boat. I'm in CT

I'm still looking for a good used Steury houseboat.
by: Rolf

I sold mine and haven't stopped looking for one since. I am looking for a trailerable model, so if any leads, let me know.

Thanks, Rolf.

A wee lil' houseboat
by: Modified

We bought a 78 steury houseboat several months ago. It has proven to be one of the most useful and enjoyable boats we have bought yet. Slow river cruising, easy to tow, and a miser on fuel.

1974 Steury houseboat
by: Tom

Love my Steury houseboat now, if I can ever get it done and ready for the water. I need help to finish the rehab. I need a houseboat partner to help me with finishing, knowledge and funds.
