Houseboat Haven - try Jorden Lake, Farrington Point

Our preference for favorite houseboat areas has to be Lake Jorden in North Carolina. It's a beautiful country lake with great fishing and camping facilities.

It has several boat ramps, a full service marina and plentiful wildlife. Has miles and miles of shoreline & plenty of secluded coves. A nice get-a-way!

Well Raymond, if your area has miles and miles of shoreline and secluded coves, sounds like a houseboaters paradise.

Especially when you consider that it has plenty of wildlife, that alone makes you unwind and enjoy the "nice get away" ... :)

Lastly, hopefully some of our readers and visitors will share and post comments about their favourite houseboat areas and experiences.

Feel free to use the "Click here to post comments." link found near the bottom of this page.

Thanks again for sharing, IAN from all-about-houseboats
