Love the fall and winter on Lake Ouachita as we have the lake to ourselves. The tourists are gone along with the seadoos & speed boats.


Now the fall colors start, watching football games on the docks, and waiting for the eagles to come back (the real ones, not the football team! LOL)

It's so peaceful and relaxing, just the reason we bought a houseboat. Beautiful!

Well Brenda, I can fully understand what you are saying as the spring and fall periods are excellent times to go houseboating.

The lakes and rivers are generally much less congested and the peaceful serenity just makes it all worth while.
