I am a beginner and looking to purchase a houseboat. My hope is to buy one that I am happy with and can keep for a while. I don't understand why some boats are not insulated, this sounds cheap, and no way energy efficient. But it seems there are a lot of houseboats that are not insulated. What are the pros and cons other that the boat is cheaper without insulation.
