Destination Yachts Dual Water Heaters

We just purchased a 2015 Destination Yachts houseboat ad love it. It shows on the controls that there are 2 water heaters...one for fresh water and another for lake water? Why does lake water need to be heated? We thought lake water is only used in the toilets and possibly hose bibs. Thanks!
