Like my 35x10 Cat Cruiser SE, no help from manufacturer, due to new owners,

My steering is stiff, does anyone have knowledge of where/how to oil/lub the steering, I add oil to the steering column on my pontoon but don't see it on this steering yet? Thought I would ask before I start removing things

Catamaran Cruiser Steering
by: Anonymous

We had a common problem on our 1994 10 x 35 catamaran cruiser. The NEW company is no help on anything for the OLD boats. We found our steering cables cracked and rusted internally. Due to having river pontoons on ours the easiest solution was to go to hydraulic steering. A little expensive but much smoother and efffortless to install and operate.

by: musclebelly

I have a 2002 26ft catamaran cruiser lil hobo and my cables have grease fittings at the outboard motor, I grease mine with a grease gun a few times every summer and again before winter storage and my steering works effortlessly. I hope this helps helps.
