Luxury Vacation Houseboat Charters - Equipped with a Captain and Crew

Looking at luxury vacation houseboat charters, fully equipped with a captain and a crew, for those folks that want a hands off approach to a luxury houseboat rental vacation?

In San Diego you can charter a fishing boat for as many as 20 or more people for 1 to 10 days for fishing with a crew and a cook. What I would like to do is have a fully equipped luxury houseboat on a good fishing lake for familes to fish, jetski and just relax. I would have a captain, crew, and a cook onboard, and with jetskis and a fishing boat.

Is anyone doing this? If not what do you think about my idea? Price would include everything they would need, all they would have to bring is clothes and any personal items. Just get on the houseboat and go.

Well Rich, I think it is a great idea, since many people are interested in renting a houseboat for a vacation, however aren't interested in all the day to day obligations of navigating, cooking, and all the general housekeeping involved.

Just look at the "all inclusive" holiday vacation destinations around the world where people go to relax in the sun and beach. The meals and housekeeping are all taken care of.

Let me know if you decide to open one up, and I can possibly help provide some advertising and marketing for this potentially great business venture.

I know that when people go on vacation, people are willing to pay a premium for great service and facilities. That's what vacations are all about (just ask my wife) :)
