Long term rental for a floating clubhouse style houseboat

A sample floating clubhouse houseboat.

I am looking for a company that can offer a long term lease on a large floating clubhouse design houseboat rental that can be tied up to our docks in San Diego CA for 12 months or so while our land-side clubhouse is constructed.

Well Cleve, I personally don't know of a company that does a long-term floating houseboat clubhouse rental.

Hopefully some of our readers will share and post comments about anyone who can help you with finding a floating clubhouse rental.

Own it instead of a Rental

Cleve, why rent when you can own it. This way, you can have your clubhouse on land, and a floating party, banquet, dancehall, wedding reception, restaurant. and the possibilities are endless and the thing may even pay for itself.

Rent or lease a Houseboat in San Diego to Live on Long Term

Would you happen to know how to find out if and where I could get info on renting a houseboat to live in like an apartment... just a boat! You know, long term. With a lease. That whole bit.

I'm not from San Diego but am moving to shortly and have no clue if this is common - but I love the idea! And I know, I know... buying would be better than renting! But I can't buy right now.

Well Tiffany, welcome to the forums, and you're right, the idea of living on a houseboat is a great one.

Personally I don't know of any to recommend, yet you could always have a look at our houseboat marinas in California to get some names and call to see if they know of anyone willing to rent or lease a houseboat long term.
