Lake Powell Rental Houseboats - we'll pick a bigger rental boat next vacation

Lake Powell is such a wonderful place, as this was our 5th year to rent a houseboat for 7 days. We decided to try a smaller houseboat this year, BIG mistake.

This houseboat was so light and the water level seemed to change every other hour that every morning we would be turned around and would have to manually turn it around and replace the anchors.

Well for some reason about the third day I started to find it funny and started to sing "Old man river....." and began laughing... :)

Don't ask me why, but a 57 year old woman with red hair, chest deep in rather cold water singing... LOL

Next year we will go back to the larger house boat and return to Friendship Cove.

Well Jane, I can sympathize with you and fully understand how you could find it funny.... A red haired woman chest deep in the water, man handling a houseboat around... lollll

I hope you enjoyed the vacation just the same. You know, they say "any day on a houseboat is a good day"... :)
