Any good Lake Mead rental houseboats available?

I am contemplating renting one of those Lake Mead houseboat rentals.


I would like to explore the possibility of renting a house boat for a week or two in the Southwest, maybe Lake Meade etc. Any thoughts?

Hi Jake,

I stumbled onto your comment here, and I am looking for a houseboat on Lake Powell in July... I know, very last minute, but we had a trip of a lifetime planned for our family of four that involved flying abroad and we are having to cancel due to Covid-19, so I am looking to surprise my family with a memorable adventure still, which would be to tour the National Parks and have a few days on the water as the highlight... without going into details I have a very serious disease and this year is the year for us to have a memorable family vacation... can you help since it sounds you might have connections? Or anybody else reading this comment?

I recommend you research photos / scenery of both Lake Powell and Lake Mead - I know Lake Powell pricing is crazy but the 2,000 + miles of shoreline and insane long narrow winding arms and quiet coves with sandy beaches make it well worth the difference.

Feel free to let me know - I have a lot of connections at Lake Powell - I drive the 4 hours to get there, even though I live 15 minutes from Mead!! Jake.
